Inkblot-Fabulous

I just ran across the Spring-Summer 2010 collection from Australian designer Dion Lee, and let me tell you:

It's Rorschach-meets Balenciaga-meets McQueen for a late dinner... dressed fabulously, of course.

Ethereal yet structured, dark yet light...

In Lee's own words, this collection was meant to illustrate "the tension between something controlled and something subconscious and less inhibited."

Done and done.

All that's missing is a shrink, sitting in front of me as I tell him what I see in each piece.

Of course, my answer would have to remain the same for each look:

"Something amazing, I guess... but also kind of painful."

(Vicodin: it can be abused.)

Jooookes!
